New Grandstands are currently being erected for use in the summer of 2010 and will complement the newer exhibit barns and the upcoming Multi-purpose arena scheduled for 2011.

Another venue for Estes Park events, Performance Park, can be found at the West end of Downtown Estes Park. It’s a new covered stage with lawn seating along the Fall River where musical groups perform all summer.  You will find other small groups performing along the Riverwalk at Confluence Park, (where the Fall and Big Thompson Rivers meet), and at Barlow Plaza on the East end of Downtown Estes Park.
Bond Park is another popular venue for Estes Park attractions including Craft and Car Shows and musical entertainment around a campfire on many nights.
Several times a year there are sporting events such as a Fishing Derby in the spring where people enjoy the Estes Park fishing and have a contest for biggest trout.

The Estes Park trails are also used to host several races including a marathon and the Frost Giant 5K winter race.

Fall and winter bring several festivals like the Elk Fest and October Fest and the best of them all, The Scottish-Irish Highland Festival the weekend after Labor Day.  Our Christmas Parade on Friday after Thanksgiving also draws huge crowds for a festive fun time.

Also in the winter you will find sled dog pulls, snow shoeing, and the stores are still open for Estes Park Shopping.
