The rooms at this Estes Park hotel are not your typical motel room but something more. We have a basic Guest Room with a single Queen bed but we also include a twin Murphy, micro-wave, refrigerator, coffee maker, CD and VCR player, ironing board, tile bath with marble vanity, brass and chrome fixtures, natural pine trim, quilted bed spreads, and on. A King bed, two-person jetted tub, and fireplace highlight the other rooms and suites and that’s just for starters.
The Appenzell Inn employs its own gardener to take care of the extensively landscaped grounds and flower boxes. What self-respecting Swiss styled Estes Park Inn would be complete without flower boxes on the deck rails, yards, and picnic area? Every year we improve the variety of trees surrounding our buildings and two ponds with water features. We also have a 6 foot cedar fence around the entire property with automatic gates to keep out the Elk and Deer, (which we love, but they tend to eat everything we plant), and also control unregistered guests.
