You’ll still see some wildlife like Elk, Coyotes and the occasional Big Horn Sheep. Some folks who know how to dress for the weather do get out and take an exhilarating hike; sometimes on snowshoes.
You can take in a movie at The Reel Theater where the prices are less than most places or rent a movie from The Appenzell Inn’s large DVD collection; it’s only a buck a movie and no interruptions.
If you need a little exercise you can take a swim in The Appenzell Inn’s indoor heated pool and then back to your room for a Jacuzzi in front of your fireplace. There’s also a health club just up the street with more equipment than any hotel could offer on its own.
