Testimonial

“Just returned from a four night stay at this lovely hotel. Great views from our Chalet Suite. Overflowing flower boxes show the pride and attention of the owners. They were very helpful and even provided us with a ride into town when our rental car broke down. Amid the ordinary and usual lodging in Estes Park, this property stands out for its cleanliness, its décor and the service. We’ll defiantly go back and recommend to others.”

We know that when you searched for hotels in Estes Park you were confronted with a myriad of requests to stay at this or that Estes Park hotel. If you have gotten this far you have probably come to realize that our Estes Park hotel is something special.

The Appenzell Inn was built to compliment and reflect the incomparable natural beauty surrounding us with a style that reflects our heritage. We love it here and we hope that when you leave us, you will have that same feeling for this special place.

Every year at The Appenzell Inn we add some new feature to enhance your stay with us. Recently we have added 6 new rooms which we call the Guest Rooms for those who enjoy staying with us for fewer days or won’t be spending much time inside. They are smaller with fewer features but still show the quality that is The Appenzell.

Three years ago we finished our Picnic Area with pavers, gas grills, landscaping, and seating for 40 people.

In 2011 we finally opened our Kitchen to allow us to satisfy the demand for a ‘real’ breakfast as well as dinner, snacks, and box lunches for your day in the park.  The dining space has been open for 10 years and we’ve just called it The Pub (even though it’s not a very Swiss name).  We are re-naming this space, Strudels Cafe and Pub.

We hope to see you soon!
