Meetings and Reunions

The Appenzell has the capacity to provide sit-down meals to groups of up to 40 inside (60 in warmer months) and 40 persons outside at our picnic patio.  Our Berghaus Lounge can accommodate 12-16 people for informal get-togethers and meetings.

Self-catered meals will be at the discretion of The Inn and may be held on the courtyard deck or the picnic patio.

Policies for Groups

Groups booking rooms at The Appenzell Inn should be aware that our rooms are not capable of accommodating more than the designated number of people.  We can accommodate meals for larger groups at our picnic patio, on the courtyard deck, or at the Strudels Café and with the advance approval of The Inn.  We understand that everyone is on a budget and you may want to handle some of the cooking yourselves but our kitchenettes do not lend themselves well to any form of heavy duty cooking and we recommend that you have that done off-site or on the provided gas grills.

The Inn cannot be held liable for any problems arising from alcoholic beverages consumed on property that were not served by the Inn.  If we, the Inn will be providing bar service at any event, we require that we provide the alcoholic beverages as an additional safety measure.
