Weddings and Elopements

The Appenzell Inn is a favorite for Honeymoon Lodging and smaller Wedding/Reception/Rehearsal parties with the capacity to accommodate groups of up to 40 people in the Winter inside Strudels Cafe or up to 60 people during the warmer months; either in an outdoor tented area or inside Strudels Café with attached deck.  Your wedding ceremony can take place on property, in several locations,- or you may prefer an outdoor wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park or indoors at one of several local churches.

We have standard wedding packages that will prove to be the easiest and most economical for most weddings but in the end, we want to cater to the desires of the celebrants as much as possible.

The Appenzell is also a popular place to elope or have a small, last minute, but tasteful ceremony befitting the occasion.

The Appenzell Inn is also a favorite choice for Honeymoons with several styles of Jacuzzi Suites including our original SuiteHeart Lofts.

Policies for Weddings

Wedding groups booking rooms at The Appenzell Inn should be aware that our rooms are not capable of accommodating more than the designated number of people.  We can accommodate meals for larger group get-togethers at our picnic patio, on the courtyard deck, or at the Strudels Café and with the advance approval of The Inn.  We understand that everyone is on a budget and you may want to handle some of the cooking yourselves but our kitchenettes do not lend themselves to any form of heavy duty cooking and we recommend that you have that done off-site or on the provided gas grills.

The Inn cannot be held liable for any problems arising from alcoholic beverages consumed on property that were not served by the Inn.  The Inn can provide bar service for any event with advanced reservations and a deposit paid.
