Our rates for this winter are still rediculously low, (Well OK, maybe not rediculously low but very competitive), and as it turns out, it may well be a great time to visit The Appenzell Inn.
SPECIAL NOTICE: As of 01-22-12, we are offering a two for one sale on rooms until Feb. 9, 2012, if booking on-line just write a note. The rates on our family units have been set to where you can have a two room suite for less than you will pay for a Motel Room at some of the corporate hotels. A nicer room, beautiful grounds, an indoor pool, restaurant on-site, guaranteed clean and comfortable at a great rate!
We are also offering special incentives to those wishing to stay longer; give us a call and we’ll work out a very nice long term rate.

Our Strudels Cafe is open, (weekends only through the winter), and for those looking for a step up from the corporate continental breakfast, we offer specially prepared creations by chef Ken such as an Appenzeller Cheese and Ham Fritatta, hot from the oven for only $9. Or how about a freshly made Apple-Walnut Strudel? –with ice cream?
For a Limited Time, Strudels and The Appenzell Inn are offering all guests of The Appenzell a 20% Discount toward any food items at Strudels Cafe. A Good deal just got better. But wait! We’re also offering Special Menus on weekends including happy hour from 5 till 6 which includes half priced drinks.
Strudels’ Chef Ken is building an outstanding Dinner Menu with traditional Bratwurst & Kraut, Appenzeller Cheeseburgers, Outrageous Mac and 3 Cheese blend, Fried Corn, Best Ever Ceasar Salad w Chicken Breast, a terrific Ribeye Steak, Cod Fillet Fish and Chips, and Swiss Fondu! Holiday Specials:
- New Years Special: a 2 night stay will include Two Roses, Choc. Hearts and Domestic sparkling Wine for $25.
- Valentine Special: a 2 night stay will include Two Roses, Choc. Hearts and Domestic Sparkling Wine for $25 plus other incentives to be announced soon.
- Easter Weekend
- Memorial Day has 2 night special rates
- Fourth of July, nights booked after the 4th are at a reduced rate.
- Labor Day Weekend has 3 night special rates.
- Thanksgiving includes a special dinner on Thanksgiving day and the rest of the weekend.
- Christmas and New Years: Special Menus at Strudels Cafe including Sunday Brunch.
Other Discounts:
- Reservations of two weekdays or more in the month of April or May will get a third night free.
- All reservations meeting minimum night requirements made 30 days in advance will receive special Early Booking rates. Our early booking rates are now available at any time online.
- Check our rates for the last half of August for exceptional value.
AAA and Military special rates:
- For non-peak periods, we can usually offer a 5-10% AAA discount from our Fair Market rates. Be prepared to give your AAA membership number when making your reservation. You will notice that we have been awarded an AAA Three Diamond rating which we are very proud of.
- Active Military personnel will receive the same AAA discount from our posted rates. If you have been or are about to be deployed to Iraq/Afghanistan, let us know so that if at all possible, we can show our appreciation.
